A Finish man was arrested in Pattaya this week for 'groping' a woman on Walking Street in Pattaya. Pretty unlucky considering you normally cant throw a Durian on walking street without hitting a bar girl (who presumably would have just taken it as foreplay).

A 37 year old Thai woman was given the kiss of life by a British man in Phuket and survived.

Tourist meet mugger; mugger this is a tourist

A Russian tourist was mugged in Pattaya around 2 am along the beach road. There are increasing reports of incidents like this late at night along or on the beach.

German killed by baked potato in Pattaya?

Australian woman killed in Bangkok pile-up

A 31 year old Australian woman, Melissa Walts, was killed in a car accident today in Bangkok's Yai district. She was in a taxi; the taxi driver and 3 other Thai's were injured.

Update: German accused of raping girl in Pattaya

We now have some pictures and more information about the German man accused of raping a 16 year old girl in Pattaya. The accused is a registered sex offender in Germany. I can't say that Pattaya is the best place for a sex offender to change his ways.

Italian pedophile arrested

Italian 'Postal' police (thats right, their postmen have guns) arrested an Italian for making and distributing underage porn in Thailand and Cambodia. Not much information is available, this article from an Italian newspaper (but is in English).

Farang kidnapped, bitten by scorpion, wife left him

You can't make up some of the things that befall farangs in Thailand. This poor chap from Wales was living in Pattaya when his Thai wife left him (with her ladyboy son) and then her relatives evicted him from his house and left him naked in a sack in the forest here he was promptly bitten by a scorpion. He is now in hospital in Wales, penniless.
